Uzbekistan’s young chess players top team standings at world championship
The Uzbekistan national team won five gold, two silver, and five bronze medals at the tournament.
The World Chess Championship in rapid and blitz formats for boys and girls aged 9–17 has concluded in Antalya, Turkey.
With a total of 12 medals – five gold, two silver, and five bronze – the Uzbekistan national team finished first in the overall team standings.
The Turkish national team placed second with eight medals.
The FIDE team took third place, winning six medals.
