Citizens can register online via the census.stat.uz platform until January 31. From February 4 to 28, specially trained staff will go door to door to record population data and information related to agriculture.

Uzbekistan launched its population and agricultural census on January 15. The process will continue through February 28.

According to the Ministry of Justice, state bodies and organizations are required to ensure that all employees working within their systems are registered on the census.stat.uz portal from January 15 to January 31, 2026. Registration will be carried out through the OneID system.

According to official information, the census will be conducted as follows:

  • January 15–31 – citizens register online via the census.stat.uz platform;
  • February 4–28 – specially trained staff conduct door-to-door visits to record population data and information related to agriculture.

As part of the exercise, detailed data will be collected on the population’s age, level of education, employment status, migration processes, as well as indicators related to land use and livestock farming in agriculture.

Officials emphasized that all collected data will be kept confidential and used exclusively for statistical purposes. The census questionnaire consists of 71 questions and covers key indicators related to living standards and agriculture.

It should be noted that a population census is being conducted for the first time in the history of independent Uzbekistan.
