Uzbekneftegaz to increase gasoline supplies on exchange amid methane station restrictions
The Ministry of Energy has announced plans to boost the daily volume of motor gasoline available for exchange trading to up to 5,000 tons, following temporary restrictions on methane refueling stations.
Currently, 3,700 tons of gasoline are offered on the exchange each day, but Uzbekneftegaz is prepared to raise this amount depending on market demand. The necessary reserves have already been established across all regions to support the increase.
“The issue of fully meeting consumer demand for gasoline is under state supervision, and all necessary measures have been taken,” the ministry said in a statement.
The company also called on private gas station operators to avoid artificially inflating fuel prices, emphasizing that stable and fair pricing remains a priority.
