The meeting brought together ambassadors and representatives from United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman.

According to Bakhtiyor Saidov, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, the dialogue provided an opportunity to exchange views on the complex developments unfolding across the Middle East and to reaffirm the growing strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the Gulf region.

During the discussions, participants voiced concern over developments that could threaten regional stability. Saidov emphasized the importance of preventing further escalation and called for the resolution of disputes through diplomatic means.

The participants also stressed that any settlement of ongoing conflicts should be achieved in full compliance with the principles and norms of international law.

In addition to security issues, the meeting addressed opportunities to deepen practical cooperation. Officials discussed measures to expand both bilateral and multilateral engagement between Uzbekistan and the Arab states of the Persian Gulf.

Particular attention was given to the “Central Asia – Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)” cooperation format. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening this interregional platform, which aims to enhance economic, investment, and cultural ties between Central Asia and the GCC member states.
