The statistical report reveals that a total of 1,159 individuals relocated to Uzbekistan from foreign countries for permanent residency over the past year. Russia remains the leading country of origin, contributing 39.9% of the total number of new residents. Kazakhstan followed as the second-largest source, accounting for 20.3% of arrivals, while Tajikistan represented 10.3% of the total. Other neighboring nations also contributed to the migration flow, with Kyrgyzstan accounting for 4.3% and Turkmenistan for 3.1%. The remaining 22.1% of residents arrived from various other countries globally.

The capital city, Tashkent, continues to be the most attractive destination for those seeking a new life in the Republic. Out of the total number of arrivals, 698 people chose to settle in Tashkent city, representing more than half of the national total. The surrounding Tashkent region received 275 individuals, while the Republic of Karakalpakstan saw 101 new permanent residents.

In contrast, other regions of the country recorded significantly lower migration figures. The Sirdaryo region welcomed 24 people, followed by the Fergana region with 14. Both the Jizzakh and Navoi regions saw 12 new residents each, while 11 people moved to the Bukhara region and 7 to the Khorazm region. The lowest figures were recorded in the southern and eastern provinces, with Qashqadaryo and Samarkand receiving 2 people each, and the Namangan region recording only a single new permanent resident for the entire year.
