The plans were discussed during a meeting between representatives of the airline and Uzbekistan Airports held in Tashkent on May 15.
The collaboration aims to enhance passenger connectivity and expand the existing flight network between the two neighboring countries. According to the preliminary schedule, the carrier intends to inaugurate its services with a flight between Tashkent and Tamchy, located near the popular Issyk-Kul resort area, on June 24.
The upcoming flights will be operated using Dash 8-400 aircraft. This initial summer route to Issyk-Kul is part of a broader, phased expansion strategy. By autumn of this year, Asman Airlines plans to introduce a Tashkent–Osh service, followed by the addition of flights to Karakol in time for the winter season.
The discussions also covered the potential for launching a regular service between Tashkent and Bishkek. Beyond the capital, the two parties explored the feasibility of connecting Kyrgyz airports with Uzbekistan’s regional transport hubs in Andijan, Fergana, and Namangan.
