Korea sent another shipment of humanitarian aid to Uzbekistan
It includes express tests for coronavirus, medical equipment and dispensers for antiseptic agents.
Within the framework of international cooperation in the fight against the coronavirus infection, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Seoul has attracted another shipment of humanitarian aid from the Republic of Korea worth $79 thousand, the information agency Dunyo reports.
A significant part of the humanitarian assistance is provided by BOMI Engineering & Construction. In addition to this company, Keumcheong Pharm Co., Ltd., ASCO Co., Ltd. and Shinhan University were also involved in assembling this 3.44-ton cargo.
The shipment includes:
- 36 multifunctional medical beds with mattress and automatic mechanism;
- 2.2 thousand Polymerase chain reaction rapid diagnostic tests;
- 2 units of equipment to create negative pressure in the hospital room;
- 100 dispensers for antiseptic agents.
The cargo was delivered to Tashkent on June 9 by Uzbekistan Airways.
It is noted that between April and June 2020, the Embassy formed and dispatched to Uzbekistan a humanitarian cargo with a total weight of approximately 33.7 tons and a cost of $1,309.293.
