Salary of Tashkent metro employees disclosed

According to correspondents of the Uzbekistan 24 television channel, the average salary of a metro employee is 2.1 million soums.

At the same time, employees of “Uzbekistan Railways” receive an average of 4 million soums a month.

Therefore, the relevant departments proposed to increase the salary of employees of the Tashkent metro, and if the document is approved and adopted, then employees of the “Toshkent Metropoliten” will have their salaries increased to 3.1 million soums in September, and further to 3.7 million soums in November.

It was reported that the former Mayor of Tashkent Rakhmonbek Usmonov was appointed deputy chairman of the board of “Uzbekiston Railways” JSC - head of “Toshkent Metropoliten”.

Earlier, several incidents were reported to have occurred in the Tashkent metro.
