Uzbekistan’s permanent population increasing by around 1.8 thousand people every day – Statistics Committee
The number of permanent residents in Uzbekistan is increasing by an average of 1.8 thousand people every day, the State Statistics Committee said.

According to the committee, as of July 1, 2022, the permanent population of the republic was 35.6 million.
Since the beginning of the year, the growth rate of the permanent population has increased by 0.9%.
The population of the country is increasing by about 55,300 people every month or by 1.8 thousand people every day.
