The movement of cars is restricted in the following six regions of Kazakhstan:
- Abay region – the “Omsk-Maykapshagay” highway with a total length of 177 kilometers, Kalbatau-Bugaz villages;
- Jambil region – the “Almaty-Tashkent-Termez” highway with a total length of 79 kilometers, Kenen-Qaynar villages. The traffic movement is through the old Kordai pass;
- Jetisu region – the “Usharal-Dostik” highway with a total length of 100 kilometers. From Koktuma station to Dostlik station;
- Kustanay region – the “Jezkazgan-Petropavlovsk” highway with a total length of 83 kilometers due to worsening weather conditions in Ulitau region, to the city of Arkaliq on the border of Ulitau region;
- Turkestan region – the “Jizzakh-Gagarin-Jetisay-Sariagash-Zhibekjoli” highway with a total length of 106 kilometers – Kyzylasker-Chernyaevka villages. For freight vehicles only.
- Ulitau region – the “Jezkazgan-Petropavlovsk” highway with a total length of 115 kilometers. From the village of Ulitau to the border of the Kustanai region.
