Committee on Religious Affairs calls on fellow citizens not to send messages of dubious religious nature during Ramadan

The Committee on Religious Affairs noted that during the holy month, citizens actively disseminate congratulations, fatwas related to deeds carried out during this month, and other messages of religious content on social networks.

“The results of monitoring conducted in recent years show that the enthusiasm of fellow citizens is used by various extremist, terrorist organizations, as well as fanatics for their own selfish purposes, who distribute their content of a religious nature,” the report reads.

The Committee recalled the responsibility for distributing materials with religious content, and also called on citizens not to download or distribute audio, video and other types of media products with dubious religious content.
