Uzbekistan and South Korea expanding interregional ties
Yesterday, at the invitation of the Syrdarya regional administration, a South Korean delegation led by the head of the administration of the Gwangsan-gu district of Gwangju, Park Byung-gyu, arrived in Uzbekistan.

The visit was organized with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in South Korea. The delegation included officials, deputies of the Gwangsan-gu district, the leadership of the Korean-Uzbek Business Association, university rectors, and heads of leading companies and organizations.
The main purpose of the visit is to hold a business forum on April 19-23, B2B and B2G meetings with the participation of businessmen from the two regions, signing a memorandum of cooperation, getting acquainted with the major economic projects being implemented, visiting the Syrdarya FEZ and holding charity events.
At the same time, it is planned to hold meetings at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Association of Korean Cultural Centers, Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, Silk Road University, Gulistan State University and sign the relevant cooperation documents.
