State admission exams 2024: Around 90,000 applications rejected for not meeting set requirements
A total of 805,688 applicants who registered for the state exams have fully met the conditions to participate in the test trials.

According to the Agency for the Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications, a total of 894,279 applicants registered, and 805,688 applicants who met the registration requirements have been allowed to participate in the exams. In 2023, this number was 948,486. Among the applicants, 52.4% are women, and 47.6% are men. Furthermore, 60.7% of the applicants were exempt from the prescribed fee for participating in the test.
The agency also provided information on the regions with the highest number of registered applicants. The highest numbers were in the Samarkand with (95,979 applicants), Kashkadarya (92,636 applicants), and Fergana regions (79,808 applicants).
Additionally, 46,244 applicants expressed a desire to enroll in educational programs requiring special talents, and 12,851 applicants aimed to enter higher military educational institutions. During registration, 22,632 applicants uploaded international certificates in foreign languages. Of these, 20,063 were verified as authentic, while 2,569 certificates were not. Moreover, 30,637 applicants registered with national certificates in foreign languages, and 20,684 with national certificates in general education subjects.
To ensure the quality of the test trials, 73 large-capacity enclosed buildings are being prepared. In one shift, 1,176 groups with 35,280 applicants can participate, and 70,560 applicants can be tested per day. The tests are planned to be conducted over 12 days.
The AAKQ reported that 2,690 group supervisors have been selected through an open competition from the general public. Additionally, 139 sign language interpreters have been recruited to provide practical assistance to applicants with speech and hearing impairments.
The agency also stated that more than 40,000 new test tasks in 15 general education subjects (29 subjects by language) have been developed and examined for use in the test trials.
