This announcement follows an agreement reached in June during the C5+1 Civil Aviation Conference, where Uzbekistan and China agreed to increase the total number of weekly flights between the two countries to 100. The number of airlines authorized to operate these routes will also double.
Additionally, Chinese airlines, designated by their government, will be allowed to operate regular flights from any city in China to all international airports in Uzbekistan. In return, the number of Chinese airports open to Uzbekistan’s carriers will increase to 12.
