Over 3,500 Uzbek women married Turkish citizens in 2024

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) reported that 3,509 Uzbek women married Turkish citizens in 2024, ranking them second among foreign nationals marrying Turkish men.

According to the report, the top five nationalities of women who married Turkish men are:

Syria – 3,519
Uzbekistan – 3,509
Morocco – 2,427
Azerbaijan – 2,195
Russia – 1,945

Additionally, data on foreign men marrying Turkish women was also published. In 2024, Syrian nationals topped the list with 1,222 marriages to Turkish women, followed by Germany with 1,156 and Afghanistan with 338.

Earlier, the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan reported that 10,842 Uzbek citizens permanently moved abroad in 2024.
