Uzbekistan drawn with Australia, India and North Korea at AFC U-17 Asian Cup
Uzbekistan’s U-17 national football team will face Australia, India and North Korea in the group stage of the AFC U-17 Asian Cup, following the official draw held on February 12 in Kuala Lumpur.

The draw ceremony determined the composition of four groups, with participating teams seeded into four pots based on ranking criteria. Uzbekistan’s U-17 side was placed in Pot 1, reflecting its status among the tournament’s top-seeded teams.
According to the draw results, Uzbekistan was allocated to Group D, where it will compete against Australia, India and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea). With the draw now finalized, all participating nations have learned their respective group-stage opponents.
The upcoming AFC U-17 Asian Cup will also serve as a qualification tournament for the 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup, which is set to take place in Qatar. The eight best-performing teams in the continental competition will secure berths at the global tournament.
