U.S. deports 65 Uzbek nationals in latest enforcement flight
The United States has deported 65 Uzbek nationals who were residing in the country without legal authorization, according to an official statement released on March 11.
The deportation was carried out on Wednesday through a special flight returning the individuals to Uzbekistan. According to the statement, the operation is part of a broader effort by the United States to strengthen border control and enforce immigration laws.
U.S. authorities said the flight represents the latest in a series of deportation operations involving Uzbek citizens.
Officials noted that since President Donald Trump took office, more than 1,000 Uzbek nationals have been deported from the United States as part of measures aimed at combating illegal immigration.
The statement emphasized that individuals who enter the United States illegally may face detention and deportation under existing immigration enforcement policies.
U.S. authorities expressed appreciation to the Government of Uzbekistan for its cooperation in facilitating the deportation process and assisting with the repatriation of citizens.
