Uzbekistan imports 1.46 million mobile phones in first two months of 2026
Uzbekistan has seen a significant increase in mobile phone imports during the first two months of 2026, according to the latest data from the National Statistics Committee.
Between January and February, the country imported a total of 1,467,126 mobile devices from 40 foreign nations, with a total estimated value of $286 million.
This volume represents a substantial growth of 301,000 units compared to the same period last year, marking a 25.8% year-on-year increase.
China remains the primary supplier by a wide margin, accounting for 1,246,448 units of the total imports. Vietnam followed as the second largest exporter to the Uzbek market with 186,148 devices, while India contributed 12,574 units. Other notable suppliers during this two-month period included the Republic of Korea with 5,170 units and Russia with 3,792 units. An additional 12,994 mobile phones were sourced from various other countries.
