The flights will operate twice a week on Airbus A320neo aircraft, making Hyderabad the second Indian destination Centrum Air serves after Delhi.
Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to India Sardor Rustambaev said the launch of the Tashkent-Hyderabad route directly implements agreements reached during Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Tashkent on August 29-30.
The new route comes as the Central Asian country expands its direct international air connectivity. On September 7, Uzbekistan’s Tourism Committee announced plans to launch the first direct flights between Tashkent and Mauritius on December 26. Four round-trip flights are scheduled on the Tashkent-Mauritius route in late December and January, while weekly service is expected to begin in June 2027, according to the committee.
